You want Amass Fried Chicken in your life – we answered yes to the call.
Tired of fine dining that seemed to spin on a much slower orbit than the rest of the world, we decided to opt for a change in pace with Amass Fried Chicken (AFC). Located along the waterfront of Copenhagen, Amass Restaurant finds its home in an unlikely urban industrial building fully adopted to impress diners with their high ceilings and modern accents.
The tall windows frame the picturesque view of their lively 500 square meter garden from inside, thriving with more than 80 different types of vegetables, herbs and flowers that are no strangers to the plate.
Served only in the outdoor garden of Amass Restaurant during Summer, pick up a box of organic fried chicken, accompanied with coleslaw and a biscuit on the side. Wine pairing and drinks are available separately.
A box of AFC is 195 kr, no reservations and only in good weather on a first-come-first-serve basis. Available Tuesdays to Thursdays between 6 – 10pm and Friday and Satudays between 12pm – 3.30pm; 6 – 10pm.
Unfortunately for us brats who have already, probably tasted the best kind of fried chicken from a recipe passed down from Great-Grams, AFC – as cute as the idea sounds – just didn’t take us away with that epic tango that we were hoping for. Although between the skies and earth, it was a good place to be – we’d rather you try for a table over lunch or dinner and allow Matt Orlando and his team to officially blow your mind and taste buds away.
